My Biggest Fears

1. If you pursue your calling with discipline, intentionality, and the help of fellow travelers, what are the chances that your worst case scenario will really happen?

I think if I follow the plans that I have set up for myself and I am disciplined and work hard along with those around me, it is fairly unlikely that they will happen. The only thing that seems out of my control is something happening to one of my family members while I am away on business but I feel that if I follow my plans correctly, I should not be away very often. I should almost always be able to be home with my family.

2. As you look at your list of fears, what themes emerge? What is at the core of what you really fear? Financial ruin? The judgment or disapproval of others? Physical harm? Endangering the ones you love? Embarrassment?

I feel that my family is definitely the most important and their physical harm is what I fear the most.  When I think about my fears, the first thing that comes to mind is losing everything financially, but the things that scare me more are anything that could physically happen to my family. That would be way worse than any financial difficulty we might pass through.

3. What is the risk of taking no action – not following your calling? How do you plan to deal with fear when it pops up on your entrepreneurial journey?

I feel that the risk of not following my dreams would be missing out on a great opportunity to grow and learn a lot in this life. Although I am so excited to be a great wife and mother, I would feel like there was a lot that was left undone and unlearned. This life is a time to learn and prepare and being a successful entrepreneur or at least trying would truly bless me in my life here on earth and after this life.
