What Do I Value Most?

This week, we had a case study in which we learned about Magdalena Yesil. She was a very successful woman in a variety of different areas. Whatever she did, she became an expert at doing it. Even after going to school and receiving her Master's Degree, she continued to be a life-long learner. Her example has inspired me to continue learning throughout my life. It was though the life experiences that she learned the most and I know that there will be many opportunities thrown my way and if I am willing, I will have the ability to learn a lot from those things.

We also watched a few videos and did some readings where we came to understand some of the most important things when it comes to starting a business. There are some steps that need to be taken in order to make any business successful. One thing that is essential to our success is that we make sure that we understand our own values before ever starting with a business. If we do not have our values in order, we may get lost along the way. One thing that is very important to me is that I never lie or cheat and am always honest with those that I work with. Another important value that I have is that family should always come first. If my family ever has to be pushed to the side to further my career, then I know there is something wrong.
