Becoming a Master Housekeeper

This week, I have the privilege of finishing the book, "Mastery." This book really inspired me to become a master at some of the things that I now take for granted. I feel that one of these things that I truly want to master, and have wanted to for a while but have not had the tools to do so, is being a great house keeper. I grew up in a home where I was not forced to do chores and much of anything around the house and I feel that this stunted my growth a bit when it comes to being a good homemaker. When I went away to college and on my mission, I had to learn how to clean house and keep my room tidy and do the dishes on a consistent basis and I had to learn it fast. I think this caused me to become a bit of a "hacker" when it comes to house-cleaning. I still have a lot of sloppy habits that I would like to get rid of. After reading this book, I feel that I still have the opportunity to become a master housekeeper if I humble myself and am willing to take the steps toward this lifelong goal. This is just one example of the many things that I would like to master in my life.
