Costs and Future

This week, I was finally able to sell a quilt! I realized that I might have to drop the price in order to get buyers so now instead of selling them for $45 I am selling them for $40. I realized that it doesn’t matter what other people are selling the same product for, what really matters is what people are going to buy it for. Just because other people are selling them at a certain price does not mean people are actually buying them. I have realized that I am going to really have to kick it into gear if I am going to make the goal of making a profit of $20. The material costs more than expected and I have realized that it takes a lot of time and energy also. Although it has been fun to do this project, I have realized that it is not something that I would really want to do as a business in the future.
