The Entrepreneurial Myth

This week I did a lot of reading in The E Myth. I got behind in my reading over the course of the semester so I had to read a lot of the book this week before the book project was due so that was my main focus for the week. It was very interesting to read this book and learn about the things Michael E. Gerber has learned through the many years he has been in business that help and hurt a small business. I know that if I do ever go into business for myself, this book will be a huge help in creating a successful small business. One thing that stands out throughout the entire book is that every single one of us has an entrepreneur inside of us. For some, the entrepreneur is hiding more than in others, but every one of us can find that entrepreneurial spirit within us. That is one thing that has worried me as I have studied and as I work towards my degree in Business Management. I have been asking myself if I have what it takes to be an entrepreneur and what I learned from this book is that I could definitely do it if I look at it the right way.
I have not been able to do much with my $100 project this week, but one thing that I did do was I went to the post office and found out that they have XXS flat rate shipping boxes that I could mail the quilts in for just $2! This opens up my business so much to being able to sell to people from anywhere in the US rather than just people who could come pick them up from me!
